Diary Entry #_ I forgot
As a parent it is important to teach your children in the ways of right an wrong. You teach them what is ethical and unethical and what is safe and what is dangerous.
As a parent, it is important that you instill good values to your children so that they may grow up as rightous adults.
The bible even says “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Ok, now lets say the parent did all this and their child grew up to be a responsible well-mannered polite and intelligent young adult.
And this young adult wants to go out with her friends at 11pm. Not to do anything reckless just to buy a cup of coffee and talk for a bit before going back home.
The parents refuse to grant their daughter permission even though she promises to be back before midnight.
What do they think she is going to be doing?
Oh you know the usual: sex, drugs and rock n roll. Maybe even commit a murder who knows a lot can happen in one hour right?
Oh please! Like any sensible person would do any of that. all she wanted was to get a cup of coffee with her friends for one hour.
Her unreasonable parents however told her that she wasn’t going and to shut up. They even called her friends unreasonable and crazy.
They cannot treat their daughter in this childish mannner much longer. There is only so much she can take before she bursts.
All I can say is, dont be surprised when she gets up and leaves.
